1. Who we are
UniPlay is an independent review and information platform covering online casinos available to players in Canada. We research, test, and rate gambling operators, and we collect reviews and experiences from real players. We are editorially independent: operators cannot pay to change a score, a ranking, or the content of a review.
2. We are not a gambling operator
UniPlay does not offer gambling of any kind. We do not accept bets or wagers, do not operate casino games, do not hold player funds, and do not process gambling payments. Any gambling activity takes place on third-party operator sites under that operator’s own terms and licence. Always read an operator’s terms, and check the laws of your province or territory, before playing.
3. Eligibility
This site is intended only for people who are of legal gambling age in their province or territory (19+ in most of Canada, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec). 4. Your account
Some features, such as posting reviews, require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and not impersonate any person or company. Casino representatives must clearly identify themselves as such. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User reviews and content
We collect and publish reviews, comments, and ratings submitted by users (“User Content”). When you submit User Content you confirm that it reflects your genuine experience, and you grant UniPlay a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, display, edit for format, translate, and distribute it on the site and in connection with our services. You retain ownership of your content.
- Reviews must be honest, based on first-hand experience, and free of misleading claims.
- No unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or obscene material, and no personal data of other people.
- No fake, paid, incentivized, or competitor-planted reviews. We use moderation and technical fraud checks, and we may decline or remove any submission at our discretion.
6. Responsibility for user content
User Content reflects the views of the person who posted it, not the views of UniPlay. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of User Content, and we are not responsible or liable for what users post. We moderate submissions in good faith, but moderation does not make us the author of, or liable for, user-submitted material. If you believe content on the site is unlawful or violates these Terms, contact us at contact@uniplay.ca and we will review it.
7. Complaints and dispute assistance
UniPlay helps players and casinos resolve disputes — for example complaints about withheld withdrawals, bonus terms, or account closures. Our role is that of a neutral, voluntary intermediary: we pass complaints to operators, request responses, and publish outcomes where appropriate. We are not a court, regulator, arbitrator, or law firm; we cannot compel any operator to act, and we do not guarantee any outcome. Nothing on this site is legal advice. Using our complaint process does not limit your right to contact a regulator (such as iGaming Ontario or the AGCO) or seek legal remedies.
8. Independence and monetization
UniPlay is free for players. We currently have no affiliate or paid relationships with the operators we review, and no operator pays us for coverage, placement, or rankings. If we introduce affiliate links in the future we will disclose it clearly, and it will never affect our ratings, rankings, or review conclusions.
9. Our content and accuracy
Reviews, scores, bonus details, and other editorial content are provided for general information only. Offers, terms, and availability change frequently and the operator’s own site always prevails. While we work hard to keep information current and verified, we make no warranty that the site is complete, accurate, or error-free, and the site is provided “as is”.
10. Intellectual property
The UniPlay name, site design, ratings methodology, and editorial content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not scrape, reproduce, or republish our content at scale without written permission. Operator names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniPlay is not liable for any losses arising from your use of this site or of any third-party operator — including gambling losses, lost winnings, account disputes, or decisions made in reliance on our content or on User Content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may modify or discontinue any part of the site, and may restrict access for users who breach these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
